But this week I purposely arranged my schedule to avoid flying on September 11. Too many bad memories of seven years ago. Instead, I drove to Charlotte today for an evening "team dinner" and will fly out tomorrow. Then after a meeting on Wednesday, I fly back that night rather than take the first flight out Thursday. I'm driving on 9/11, not flying.
I get to Charlotte. Guess what room I have in the hotel? 911.
Really, I'm not superstitious.

So much for superstitions........
At least it isn't the number 13.
Be Careful. Drive home safely.
Ha!
Hope you have a safe trip.
I guess that'll teach you to over think things huh?
Dude.
Whoa.
That's a helluva coincidence.
Well, my stay in room 911 was uneventful. I got on a plane and flew to Richmomd. I'm in room 404 tonight. Tomorrow I head back to Charlotte, hopefully I won't get room 911 again...
hey, thanks for visiting my blog...
i am not superstitious either but...
about 10 years ago my husband and i were about the buy a bigger house. we found a beautiful house on the corner with detached garage and plantation stutters on the floor to ceiling windows. it was a steal, a good 30K cheaper that like houses recently sold or on the market. the clincher, it was the house of a recent murder that was being played out in the news. the 'event' had happened in the master closet. it was a woman who was 7 months pregnant.
we told ourselves it didn't matter. no big deal. this was an opportunity of a lifetime...we put down earnest money, went home and could not sleep.
we backed out the next day. the murder was not solved for almost 8 yrs. the husband did it, the one we would have gone to closing with. i was scared of the thought of sleeping in that room and being there alone.
but i am not superstitious...
